Ottawa!
Heyyy!!!
So I know I had said I was going to Quebec City but as crazy little souls we are we made this a longer road trip than it had to be and we made the stop in the capital of this country. (side note: we did leave the house at 3AM...i know no one would believe me so I took a picture...ha!) We saw beautiful scenery on our way alone with the sunrise so pretty and peaceful!
Although we were only there for two hours what we saw of Ottawa is so pretty! We made it just in time for the changing of the guard ceremony at 10AM!! We are indeed very lucky. It was a very coordinated and organized ceremony. A guard patrols the gates for two hours and then they switch within the group of guards for 24 hours until the new changing of guard ceremony occurs.
